A well-known business personality in Malaysia, Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato' Dr Lim Kok Wing is a highly talented man with a multitude of artistic skills. He was selected as Malaysia's sole entry for the global Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Monte Carlo held in June 2006. He has a dynamic track record spanning some 40 years as a successful strategic communications specialist, a branding consultant and president of a reputable international university – the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology.
Tan Sri Lim is well-known for his innovative approach to education and his industry-within-university practice has successfully created new lifestyle brands for franchising.
In addition to pioneering creative education, he has set up the Malaysia Design Innovation Centre to position Malaysia as a design and creative hub in Southeast Asia. He is also President of the Malaysian Content Creation Council. He is tasked to unite the currently widely dispersed content industry to strengthen their ability to market skills and capability to the global market.
